PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL

The first meeting of the Parish Pastoral Council took place on Tuesday 7th July. Jim Deeds of the Diocesan Living Church Office gave the P.P.C members an introductory talk of the way forward, he reminded the Council members of the need for ongoing formation on their role in the Parish. The new P.P.C members will spend a day away as the first step in their training program. Jim also reminded the P.P.C to proceed slowly and not to rush into 'doing things' but to prepare a 'Mission Statement' and a 'Constitution'. The need for communication with other groups in the Parish and all the Parishioners in general was emphasised. The P.P.C will keep the channels of communication open at all times.

The new P.P.C members are:

Imelda Breslin, Kevin Carey, Paddy Cushnahan, Mary-Ellen Gribben, Eddie McKeever, Toya McKee, Ciaran McDonnell, Gerry Dillon, Catherine Hare and Fr. Curran.
